I have been working A LOT, busy during recruitment season.  I love my new job!  I do not think I have told you guys.  I took a new job, but still in WSU (Washington State University) Admissions as an admissions counselor.  I represent King County and some other awesome schools and community colleges.  I love my team and what our mission is to get students to college to receive higher education.  And why not, WSU?  It is awesome!

I have been reading.....and finished

So sad it is the last book in the series, but happy they are making the first book (Hunger Games) a movie and I can see it this March!

Saw some amazing friends from high school............

And most important, spending time with my husband.  Much needed relaxing time and especially with each other.

Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope you all can be thankful for something in your life as you are stuffing your faces and planning your black friday steals.  I am so thankful for everything in my life.  It has been a really rough year, and I am thankful it is almost over and ready to start 2012.  Below are a couple things I am truly grateful and thankful for:

1. My relationship with God.  I do not know where I would be if I did not have Jesus in my life.  He has poured blessings upon blessings to Sean and I.  I am so blessed for everything he has given us or challenged us with.

2.  I am thankful for Sean.  He is my best friend and always there for me.  We love doing the little and big things together in life.  I cannot wait for the big steps in our lives that we get to share together.  Especially, when we start having a family and seeing him as dad.  He is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

3.  I am thankful for Rudy.  Yes, people might think I am obsessed with a dog.  But to me, he is the closest thing to having a son, and thus I treat him like one.  He brings so much joy to my life.  Always excited when I walk in the door and so sad when I leave.

4.  I am thankful for family.  I have the best family in the world and also have an even bigger family now with Sean's family.  I am so blessed to have people in my life that love me.

5.  I am thankful for my sister, Ashley.  I am glad that we know all the little details of each others lives and that we can laugh at the right times and wrong times.  I love her so much.

6.  I am thankful for my job!  I am so blessed to have a job that pays the bills and that I love the people I work with.  WSU is awesome!

7.  I am thankful for friends that I have met in high school, college, church, in work and have truly changed me to be the best I can.  Thank you all!

I hope you all have a long list of things to be thankful for or at least one thing.  Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

My Veteran, My Dad

On Veteran's Day hung out with my dad who served in Vietnam right out of high school.  So proud of him.  We were going to go to Applebees for lunch, but the line was out the door, because Veteran's get a free meal.  So we went to Starbucks and enjoyed coffee and lunch together.  It was a lot of fun, my dad is so fun to hangout with.  He is so caring and selfless and hilarious.  What more could you want?

Love him!

Amanda :)

Yummy bread

My salad had cougar gold cheese in it!  That is why I secretly ordered it.  And it was awesome!

Amanda ordered a yummy sandwhich.

I went to the bathroom and she took pics of herself.  Awesome!

It was so great to catch up with Amanda, my long time wildhorse canyon friend!  Love her!  We served a month together at the christian younglife camp.  I miss that time in my life, but am grateful for where I am today.  I am glad we are both FINALLY in the seattle area.  Looking forward to reading Gatations together!  We ate at Purple, a fun hip wine bar and found my cougar gold cheese!

Happy Veterans Day Dad!

Thank you all for serving our country and fighting or our freedom.  I cannot imagine what you all went through when America was sleeping in or planning birthday parties and you were being shot at.  Thank you so much!  Especially, my dad who was in the Marine Corps and fought in Vietnam.  I am proud of you and love you so much!  Thank you to Stefano as well who served in Afghanistan as a Marine.  Please thank a Veteran today, or think about your freedom at least when you are going to the Veteran's Day sales or having that day off of school.

I need to stop reading

I need to stop reading, but these books are sooooo good!  I finished another one, and cannot wait to finish the series!  I just love a good book that you cannot put down.  I miss the simplicity of life through reading books.

Does anyone have any books to recommend?  I will probably be done soon with the next book, once I get my hands on it.

Garage Sale

First customer!

These guys were awesome!  Could speak Russian.  We sold them one of our bikes.

My cousin Amber and I had a garage sale to make some money for our trip to Haiti.  It was a lot of fun, but really cold.  We did this actually in September, but had to start somewhere.  I love Garage Sales so I had a blast.  Plus, my dad and Rudy helped hold down the fort as well.

Best Birthday Party Ever

My family is awesome, I can just say that.  Because we missed Halloween to dress up, we decided to dress as the Adam's Family for my birthday party.  It was so much fun and I think we will dress like this next year for Halloween and we might even try and win a contest.

Sean was Lurch, the butler.  LOVE HIM for going on with this crazy scene.

I was Wednesday and grandma was the grandma, then changed into a medical patient.

Sean: Lurch, Dad: Uncle Feester, Me: Wednesday, Ashley: Morticia, Mom: Pugsley.

Always knew that Lurch liked Wednesday :)

Yummy turkey dinner

On my real birthday, the next day we ate at Olive Garden, my favorite!

My goofy parents, I love them.

Rudy and his cousin, Bongo.

Thank you all for the wonderful birthday wishes.  It was not as bad as I thought, and I even enjoyed it.  I think the costumes helped a lot.  I am truly blessed with a wonderful family and an amazing husband.  Sean at one point, was like: 'Who's Adam?".  I said that It was the Adam's family, there is not a person named Adam.  He has never even watched the movies, but was still willing to act like a weirdo.  I love him so much.
