Simplot Wedding
I had the pleasure of attending Eric Simplot and Laura Bruner get married! Sean, my hubby was a groomsman and it was a lot of fun. Below are some sneak peek photos of the event:

Memorial Day Weekend
Sean and I are leaving today at 7 pm to go to McCall, Idaho for Eric Simplot and Laura Bruner's wedding. I am so excited to see two friends get married, plus I love weddings! I will post some pictures later this weekend or next week. EB and her little kiddos are going to watch Rudy and they are so excited! If Rudy could understand, he would be ecstatic as well. Below is a picture of our Wedding to give you a taste, and one day I will blog probably on our anniversary some pictures!
Coffee with Mom
This bagel was so good!
Yummy coconut mocha :)
Not sure how I feel about the new starbucks symbol, kinda techy looking, but still very simple.
My mom is probably going to kill me for putting up this photo, but I loved our coffee date so much I had to post it. We got up early the Saturday before Mother's Day because Sean and I were leaving early on Sunday and I wanted to celebrate my mom. I love going out for coffee dates and chats with friends and going with my mom was just the best. I enjoyed sharing stories and talking about life with my mom. These past couple of years our relationship has moved from mother and daughter to friends, to even best friends. I really cherish our relationship and hope to have this with my children one day. Thank you mom for being there for me always and for being my friend.

Rudy is Famous!
Well, maybe not exactly...but he was on the Washington State University website yesterday! With his picture and everything :). Go to this website and click on the arrow to see the next row of dog pics and you will find him! He is the fourth picture from the left and is the cute little pug.
Baseball event raises $210 for Humane Society
If you came with a dog you paid $7 and it went to the Humane Society, it was pretty awesome. Below are some pics of the event:

Uncertainty
Woman in Transition is a blog that shows my transition throughout my life and I cannot wait to share with you all of my adventures and transitions as they occur. I feel like I have not blogged about my life in a long time. So here is an update:
Sean got a job! Not just a summer job or after school job, but a big boy job! I did not want to post until it was official, but he will be working at Darigold (milk company) in Issaquah, WA starting in August. We are so excited! It was fun and nerve racking going through the final steps of waiting to see if it was official. My man has earned it. I am so proud of him, plus its taking me closer to Seattle.
This also creates more debate on where to live because we want to live a little north of Seattle, but that commute would be awful for him. We were thinking about Bothell and are not thinking about Bellevue. We are looking to rent (would love to rent a house) so Rudy could have a backyard, but we will probably have to rent an apartment before we start looking to buy house in the next year or so. There is also some hesitance because Darigold might relocate Sean after his year of training to the other branches: Salt Lake City, Boise, Cadwall, Montana, Oregon (cannot remember the cities), Spokane, Tri-Cities, Sea Tac, or Seattle. So there is a chance we could stay in the area or in Washington or move far away. I hope we can stay in Seattle, so we can look for houses and start a family in the next couple of years J.
I titled this post uncertainty, because my job is being funded by a grant called the College Access Challenge Grant and is up on August 13, 2011, which is also my last day! My job was only temporary, and I knew that when I started. It has been really great because God has blessed me health and dental benefits from this job and a steady paycheck. I am not really sure where what career or job I will have after this one. This can be a really scary time in someone’s life or really exciting! Here are some possibilities, let me know what you think!
-I could work in higher education (different colleges). I really have enjoyed working at WSU in admissions and recruitment. I have a really great team and like this kind of atmosphere. I could see myself doing something like this.
-I could substitute, because lets be honest, teaching jobs are hard to come by right now and with all the budget cuts….. My passion is kids and I would love to teach, so maybe someday I will have my own classroom.
-stay at home mom with Rudy J.
-I could work in a coffee shop. I think it would be amazing to open up my own coffee shop with comfy couches and chairs….but until then I could work in one.
- program coordinator. I am a program coordinator for a recruitment event at WSU called Imagine U. I could work somewhere coordinating something. I love to organize and plan things.
-serving/volunteering or working at a church. I would love to get up and go to work at my church. I could maybe organize events and mission trips. That would be awesome!
-taking pictures (not sure if I could get a job, but maybe more of a hobby).
If anyone has any ideas or leads, let me know! Especially, in the Seattle area.
Ferry Ride
Michelle and I on the ferry, it was her first ferry ride.
A seagull.
Sean and I, it was his first ferry ride as well.
Javin and Sean.
I really wanted to do the whole Jack and Rose Titanic dramatic scene, but Sean was not up for it.
We traveled from Pullman, WA to Port Angeles, WA for the Imagine U program on Sunday, May 15th. We had to take a ferry from Edmonds, WA to Kingston and little did I know that Sean, my hubby and Michelle my boss and friend had never been on a ferry before. Go figure! I could not believe that ten minutes away from my hometown there is a ferry that I have rode numerous times, and they are adults and this was their first. It was pretty crazy, but I was glad to be a part of it.

Happy Graduation Amberly!!!
Sean's sister, Amberly graduated from The University of Idaho and we are so proud of her! All of her hard work paid off! I love visiting the Idaho campus, it is so beautiful in the spring and I really miss all the old buildings.
