About Me

I am so glad you decided to stop and visit my blog.  Thank you!  My name is Hayley and I am married to my best friend and one of the most wonderful man, Sean.  We met in college at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho.  I was playing on the women’s soccer team and he was in the Fiji fraternity.  We did not meet at a crazy college party, but rather at Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) where I was the emcee making people laugh and Sean was behind the scenes changing the worship slides.  That does not sum up our relationship at all.  Even though, I am really outgoing, Sean is hilarious and we keep ourselves pretty entertained.  As Sean puts it: “Since I have married you, I have never been bored”.

We both signed up to go on a mission trip to Moscow, Russia and once we got accepted, we started dating!  Needless to say, we had a great time telling Russians about Jesus and even went on some Russian dates!  After being together for a year, Sean proposed on Valentine’s Day and we got married on August 9, 2009.  I love coming home every day to my best friend.  We moved into our first home in 2012 and have loved adding our personal touches to it.  We have a wonderful pug named Rudy who we treat like our son.  Last August we welcomed our first human child, Sawyer and have had an amazing and crazy transition through this experience called life.  Thus, the title of my blog: Woman In Transition, because I will always be in transition in life and love every season of it!

I am currently employed by the University of Idaho as a regional admissions counselor.  It is one of my dream jobs as I get to work from home and recruit at the place where Sean and I went to college and met!  Check out my work page for the University of Idaho here.

Sean and I love our church, Brookview Community Church and are actively involved.  We serve in the children's ministry and love those kids.  We also went to Haiti with Brookview in 2011.

I grew up in Mountlake Terrace, WA with my dad, mom, and older sister (only 14 months older) Ashley.  I love my crazy, loud, outgoing family and would not trade them for the world!

I enjoy playing soccer, going to local coffee ships and drinking coffee with friends, painting or doing any DIY, being Sawyers mama, playing with Rudy, and hanging out with family.

Thanks for stopping by!
