My Childhood Best Friend Got Married

Ashley, the beautiful bride.  Sums up our friendship lol.

Selfie with the bride.

Sean, mom, dad, Ashley, and myself.

I got the pleasure of making the signs for the wedding and had a blast.
I know I mispelled chicken breast, but I fixed it prior to the wedding lol.

My adorable parents.

The First Kiss as a married couple.

Loved being apart of this wedding especially since I was there in the beginning for their first date at sophomore year homecoming.  I have known Ashley since the 6th grade through playing basketball together and being stuck at the hip.  We were inseparable throughout middle and high school and I am so thankful for her in my life.  Thank you Ashley and Trevor for letting me be apart of your special day.  Such a fun wedding and such a special couple!

Thanks for reading!

Surprise 30th Wedding Anniversary for my Parents, Part 1 Decorations

My sister and I threw my parents a surprise 30th wedding anniversary for my parents this past March 2013 with the help of a lot of family members.  Especially, my aunts and grandparents who were actually there for the wedding.  I wanted the colors of the party to be the actual colors of their wedding, which was hard to find, but fun.  Below are the decorations of the party and other posts will follow of the party.

30th balloons were found at Party City.

Used my sisters wedding arch with tissue handmade poms and J for Jackie and D for Dan letters over napkins.

The entertainment setting up.  Skip did an amazing job.  We used balloons, lights, and pretty tule for the ceiling.  Wish I had a good photo of the ceiling.

We put up a sheet and had a projector to show old wedding and fun photos of their marriage throughout the years.

My moms beautiful wedding dress.

A table of photos, copy of wedding certificate, and their wedding candle.

A collage my sister made of them throughout the years.

We used the back pages of their actual wedding guestbook to have the guests sign at the party.

Food table before the food was put on there.

A delicious wedding cake that my aunt Sharon made.  Isn't it gorgeous?

"Your Journey with Dan and Jackie" this is where people could sign on a timeline a funny story or when they met them.

Beautiful flowers my aunt Linda put together.  What a talent she has.

The Bride and Grooms seating.  Beautiful!

Stay tuned for more pictures of the event and the surprise!

Weddings

Sean and I got to go to a wedding earlier this month to celebrate one of his fraternity brothers, John Temple and his now wife Cianna get married!  It was a blast and the weather turned out perfect!  Congrats to a beautiful couple.

Loved the color choice: lime green with dark blue.  I love lime green so it won me over.

The wedding took place downstairs at the winery in the basement with the wine barrels (see below). Flower girl walking down the aisle.

Cianna and her dad walking down.

So cute!

Such a happy couple!

Loved this idea: having the wedding party escorted in a trolley back to the reception.

Such a beautiful reception overlooking the vineyard. Sean and Alex catching up.

Yummy cupcakes!

I love weddings and cannot wait for the next one on Saturday!  My old neighbor is getting married!

Going to a Wedding....

Today, Sean and I are going to a wedding.  It is one of his fraternity guys, John who is getting married.  I always love going to weddings to see the decorations and of course the happy couple :).  I am also excited to spend some time with the hubby.  He has been working 10 pm-6 am this week for training at Darigold.  It has sucked.  But I will get him all day and all of the three day weekend :).

This photo made me think of when Sean and I got married and our dating days.  I found this on pinterest and it had the caption: where you met, where you got married, and where you honeymooned.  I thought this was so cute, and reminded me of going to this wedding where this couple has a lot of memories and are starting new ones as well.  I might have to do this for Sean and I, but change the maps to: where we met, and where we have traveled together (Hawaii, Russia, and Haiti).

Kelsey and Adam got hitched!

It was a beautiful wedding!  On August 6, 2011 they joined in marriage!  The wedding was at Kelsey's families river house and it was gorgeous!  The ceremony was beautiful and even hilarious at time with the commentary and Adam's cute slip up with the vows.  Gotta love these two!  Plus, I hope Sean and I can go on married couple dates!  Sean could not go because of work, but it was so much fun to catch up with all of the soccer girls.  I did take a lot of pictures, sorry about that.  I just cannot help it, it was so beautiful!

The wedding took place at their cabin in Entiat, WA

Groomsmen:  Four of them were Idaho football players
So happy :)

Adam was having a little trouble repeating the vows and had to read it, he was nervous and it was hard
