Coffee Shop

I LOOOOOOVE coffee!  I think it stemmed from my mom following her secret dream or fun job to start a coffee business.  Most people do not know that about my mom.  She had a great job and when she had my sister and me 14 months later....she quit it to open up a daycare to raise us kiddos and spend time with us without paying for daycare.  Then when I went into Kindergarten and instead of going back to her old job, she wanted to open up a coffee truck, because she would never be able to do it again.  I was not old enough to truly enjoy her dream and to taste the coffee, but she loved that time in her life.  What an adventure!  I have always dreamed of opening up a coffee shop ever since going to college and basically living in one for studying, reading, daydreaming, etc.  I hope one day my mom and I can work side by side doing what we love!  Anyway, this is just me posting some pictures and ideas of what I would love my coffee shop environment and atmosphere to be.

I would love for it to have:

-Welcoming atmosphere

-Comfy chairs for people to enjoy
-Chill music like Norah Jones and Landon Pigg
-Has to have at least one old brick wall (love those!)
-Books everywhere for people to read
-Local artwork on the walls
- A chalk board for people to write their thoughts and inspirations
-Of course, amazing coffee!

Hopefully, one day I will be posting about my own coffee shop, until then....a girl can only dream :)

My Sweet Hubby

Sean is so sweet.  He has been planning a special day for me forever and finally and secretly he did it.  Late Sunday evening or early Saturday night he told me before we went to bed that he wanted from now on for Labor Day to be called: "Hayley's Day".  Whatever I wanted to do, he would do it.  He said he would make me breakfast and take me shopping, etc.  It felt so nice to be treated so special.  He is the greatest guy in the entire world.  I love him so much.  We spent the day at the mall and at different shopping areas.  And guess what?  He was so patient and loving throughout the whole time.  So, if I had to choose again, I'd still choose Sean ;).

Love this outfit, especially with the Toms.  I cannot wait to snuggle up with light sweatshirts and Toms this fall!

Going to a Wedding....

Today, Sean and I are going to a wedding.  It is one of his fraternity guys, John who is getting married.  I always love going to weddings to see the decorations and of course the happy couple :).  I am also excited to spend some time with the hubby.  He has been working 10 pm-6 am this week for training at Darigold.  It has sucked.  But I will get him all day and all of the three day weekend :).

This photo made me think of when Sean and I got married and our dating days.  I found this on pinterest and it had the caption: where you met, where you got married, and where you honeymooned.  I thought this was so cute, and reminded me of going to this wedding where this couple has a lot of memories and are starting new ones as well.  I might have to do this for Sean and I, but change the maps to: where we met, and where we have traveled together (Hawaii, Russia, and Haiti).

Crazy Love

I am finally starting Crazy Love by Francis Chan.  Sean got it for me for Christmas almost two years ago.  Lame, I know.  I have been wanting to read it forever.  I started reading it and made excuses that I had to read my textbook and finish my homework for class.  Blah, Blah, Blah.  I was not in the serious mindset to read it and was too lazy to commit my whole life to the Lord.  But now, I am pumped up and ready to take the challenge.  I want to experience all of God's crazy love for me and to give it back to Him.  If you want to take the challenge with me, DO IT!  I would love to talk and read with you.  Sean already read it in a men's bible study and loved it.  So I cannot wait to finish it!  Francis Chan does a great job of connecting with interactive videos on his website that I listed above so you can listen and watch him explain each chapter (under 9 min each).

Take the Crazy Love Challenge and fully commit to the Lord!

Thanks for listening,

Hayley
