Trying to Eat Healthier

I am trying to eat healthier. It is summer and why not enjoy it with some healthier meals?  For snacks, I have been trying to eat veggies and bell peppers, which are so good!  I also have been eating/drinking (not sure what it is) smoothies.  It is a great way to enjoy good fruit before it spoils.  I actually LOVE smoothies. I am not adding anything extra (like sugar packets at the store) but just the amazing fruit.  My favorite right now is strawberry banana.

I just cut up three bell peppers as my sister and I depart for my family reunion this weekend.  Super excited for all the craziness!

Idaho Work Retreat

I was very excited to get to go to Moscow, Idaho a couple weeks ago.  It is one of my favorite places in the entire world.  I have so many memories there.  I got to reconnect with teammates and meet some new ones.  Unfortunately, we were busy all day and night that I couldn't see anyone in town but it was a very productive work trip.  I cannot believe we got ipads!!!  My dad doesn't even know what they are lol.  Super excited!

obsessed with Etsy deals

I am very obsessed with these two websites: Veryjane.com and groopdealz.com.  Two coworkers shared them with me and it has ruined made my life better lol.  I love looking at the deals and every once in a while I will purchase something.  It is a lot of fun to get deals.  You can skip signing in on Veryjane, but have to sign in at groopdealz to view the items.  There are some really awesome chevron curtains I would love to have in my new house :).



Deal that was on Very Jane.  Love #4 and possibly # 3 and #1.  But most likely going with #4 for our living room or upstairs office.

Ocean Park

Sean and I have not gone on vacation in a LONG time.  We have been busy with work, moving out of our apartment, getting the new house ready, and unpacking.  It was really nice to get out of town and relax.  I couple weeks ago we drove down with Bongo, Ashley's dog, Rudy, Ashley, Sean, and myself.  It was crammed but a lot of fun.  We played on the beach, enjoyed down town Long Beach, and Sean's birthday.  It was very nice.

Sean's Birthday

Sean turned 26 this past Sunday.  We were on vacation with my family in Ocean Park, WA during his birthday.  When asked what kind of cake he wanted for his birthday he stated, "blackberry pie".  It was delicious never the less.  My mom picked the berries in the bushes that day and made the pie while we golfed.  I had never been golfing, but it was fun and of course Sean LOVED it.

Okay, Okay

Okay, Okay, I never meant to say I was back and then not post for over a month.  Oppsies!  Sorry, about that.  A lot has happened!  Let's see...Sean and I bought our first home!!!!!!!  Crazy!  We feel so blessed about the entire process and how God was the center the entire time.  I will go into a little detail about the process in other posts.

We just finished packing and moving while both working jobs.  We have yet to enjoy the beautiful weather that Seattle has to offer for only a month...sunshine!  But I am hopeful to enjoy it this weekend for our vacation.

I have the best family, because they literally dropped everything to help us move and set up our home.  My mom and sister and cousins helped me paint.  Sean and my cousin Cory put up a temporary fence for Rudy because our fence fell over and Rudy kept trying to escape....He thinks he is funny.

For the time being I am trying to still unpack, put things in places, hang pictures and decor on the walls.  I feel very overwhelmed, but it will all come into place!

WE OWN OUR OWN HOME!!!  I still have to pinch myself sometimes :).
