Adoption on our Hearts

Sean and I have been discussing adopting more seriously and are researching it online.  We are going to seriously pray for a year (since July) and then apply for adoption.  We wanted to adopt in Haiti, but found out that if you want to adopt from Haiti you have to be over the age of 35 and have been married for over 10 years.  Well, I have 11 years until I am 35 and Sean and I just celebrated our 2 year anniversary....so we are thinking God is leading us to other countries.  We are looking at possibly Ethiopia or Nigeria.  I was researching and came across this amazing adoption blog and their video made me cry.  It was so awesome!!! Adoption

God has given me a heart for adoption.  Sean probably thought it was just a phase when we were dating, but God has truly changed (if He needed to change) Sean's heart for adoption.  I would love to have one or two of my own kiddos and then adopt overseas.  There are so many children even in America and overseas that need a home.  I really want to adopt from a third world country where I can give a child, or children :) a better life.  I have wanted to adopt for so long now, even before the whole crazy celebrity adoption fad (Angelina Jolie).  I have always wanted to give a kid a home they never had.  I am so excited for when that time comes!  I just want to fly over to where ever we will adopt from and pick up my baby or toddler.  How could you say no to the pictures below?
