Rudy is pretty funny. If he is hungry and Sean and I are in a different room he will bring his little kibbles a couple at a time over to us in the next room to eat. It is not very practical for him, but he does not care, he just loves being with us. How cute is that?

Rain Boots
I have grown up in Washington for over 24 years and have never owned rain boots. I have never owned a rain jacket, until last month when I moved back. There are such cute rain boots out there and since I have to walk Rudy outside, in the rain, I might as well start looking. So in leu of the rain yesterday, here are some cute ideas:

I am torn between the Red or Black ones. I really like how the red pops out, but the black might match better with everyday or for work...hmmmm....I guess we shall wait and see.

Today was the first day waking up to the fall rain. I was actually cold in my apartment! I think Rainy Days are perfect for Mondays, that way you do not miss the weekend and can enjoy being inside working, maybe just a little bit. Today, I actually liked the rain, but do not quote me on that cause later this fall, I might not. Hope you stayed dry!

Pre shopping for Fall
I am just pre-shopping for fall, which means literally dreaming of what I wish I could buy, maybe. I would like some comfy, but cute sweaters, boots, scarves, and lovely beanies. I am so anxious to start stomping on dried leaves, yes, I love doing that!!!

Weddings
Sean and I got to go to a wedding earlier this month to celebrate one of his fraternity brothers, John Temple and his now wife Cianna get married! It was a blast and the weather turned out perfect! Congrats to a beautiful couple.
Loved the color choice: lime green with dark blue. I love lime green so it won me over.
The wedding took place downstairs at the winery in the basement with the wine barrels (see below). Flower girl walking down the aisle.
Cianna and her dad walking down.
So cute!
Such a happy couple!
Loved this idea: having the wedding party escorted in a trolley back to the reception.
Such a beautiful reception overlooking the vineyard. Sean and Alex catching up.
Yummy cupcakes!
I love weddings and cannot wait for the next one on Saturday! My old neighbor is getting married!

Adoption on our Hearts
Source: Etsy via Mandy on Pinterest
Sean and I have been discussing adopting more seriously and are researching it online. We are going to seriously pray for a year (since July) and then apply for adoption. We wanted to adopt in Haiti, but found out that if you want to adopt from Haiti you have to be over the age of 35 and have been married for over 10 years. Well, I have 11 years until I am 35 and Sean and I just celebrated our 2 year anniversary....so we are thinking God is leading us to other countries. We are looking at possibly Ethiopia or Nigeria. I was researching and came across this amazing adoption blog and their video made me cry. It was so awesome!!! Please check out their beautiful story on their blog: Good to be Crazy. They are a beautiful family following the Lord's will for their life. Watch their video here: Real adoption video.

I wanna do this for my home

I just love those Mr. and Mrs. pillows and how they are not just for newlyweds but for married couples as well. I hope I can find them or maybe get really crazy and make them :).

I would just love to be more organized and to have the inside of my cupboards be useable to write on and to plan. Oh, maybe one day...

Monroe Fair Rodeo
Sean has been dying for me to see a real rodeo. I have never been to one in my entire life. So we went to the fair with my family a couple weekends ago and decided to see the rodeo. Sean was really disappointed because the arena was tiny and they did not do a very good job getting the little calf according big rodeo standards. They have the Emmett Rodeo every year in his hometown so he was a little discouraged when it came to the Seattle style rodeo and not the Idaho rodeos. I had no expectations and thought it was fun, so I guess we shall see what I think of a real rodeo.
PS sorry the photos are so bad, the quality of my camera indoors was terrible.
